Since graduating from the Architecture and Urban Design program at the German University in Cairo (GUC) in 2020, Daniel has developed a multidisciplinary practice that bridges architecture, interior design, archival documentation, digital arts, and boat design. In 2024, he became a partner at Dar Arafa Architecture, further solidifying his role as one of the leading emerging architects in Egypt.

Alongside his professional practice, Daniel has served since 2022 as an Assistant Lecturer in Interior Architecture at Coventry University – Cairo (TKH campus), mentoring the next generation of designers and architects. His teaching integrates theory with practical design, informed by his broad creative background.

Daniel’s work reflects a unique cross-disciplinary perspective. Beyond architecture, he is a self-taught musician, photographer, and digital artist, creative pursuits that directly enrich his approach to design, art direction, and spatial storytelling. His portfolio spans projects in architecture, interior design in Egypt, heritage preservation, digital arts, and luxury boat architecture.

A key highlight of his career is his ongoing architectural research project initiated in 2021 on the archival processing and documentation of La Chapelle Du Collège De La Salle in Daher, in collaboration with Georges Mohsen and Samuel Mohsen of The GS Studio. This project has deepened his engagement with Egyptian architectural heritage, building documentation, and historic preservation—establishing him as a contributor to safeguarding Cairo’s cultural legacy.

In parallel, Daniel has gained notable recognition as a boat architect in Egypt, designing four luxury Nile sailing boats that operate as floating hotel-cruisers between Luxor and Aswan. These vessels stand out for their elegant spatial planning, refined interiors, and seamless integration of modern aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship, making him a recognized figure in Nile cruise architecture and interior design.

Through his technical expertise, artistic vision, and multidisciplinary practice, Daniel has built a reputation as a forward-thinking designer in Egypt. His work continues to explore the intersections of architecture, heritage, and contemporary arts, establishing him as a creative force shaping the region’s design landscape
